2024 Cornhole for S3Kit Recap
If you weren’t there with us this year, you’ll want to be next year! What an incredible day!
We were once again overwhelmed with gratitude. We continue to be amazed at the amazing support we are receiving and it’s not just financial. People keep showing up for S3Kit and our hearts continue to smile.
Besides it being a bit windy, it was a perfect day. We had 16 teams compete in the Cornhole tournament, sold A LOT of raffle tickets, and received individual donations from many.
Before Sam, I didn’t even know what a tracheostomy was. It was crazy the amount of people who came to talk about their own experiences of knowing someone who had a trach. Most were not people who were there for the event, they just happen to be eating at the restaurant.
Tracheostomies are not something you talk about every day. It was heartwarming to hear other miraculous stories. There is a simple, yet strong bond you can sometimes form with a complete stranger when you’ve had a similar life experience. The amount of ‘meant be moments’ were not few that day.
